Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Being There (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on 3rd February 2009 priced at $19.96 SRP. Peter Sellers, Melvyn Douglas, Shirley MacLaine and Jack Warden star in director Hal Ashby and writer Jerzy Kosinski’s satirical fable that takes on politics, celebrity and the media.

That's it?! A trailer and a featurette which hardly sounds enticing!... Suppose I'll pick it up anyway, might be the best we can expect for this film for a while...
