High Fliers have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of ARN - The Knight Templar on 20th September 2010. Simon Callow stars alongside Joakim Natterqvist and Sofia Helin in this medieval fantasy adventure that tells an epic story of war, treachery, intrigue and love. The film is based on the three Arn books by top selling Swedish writer Jan Guillou which are known as the Crusader trilogy.

Priced at £12.99 RRP on DVD and £19.99 RRP on Blu-ray, there are no extras.

valmont74 Registered User Forum Posts: 2	This is a swedish film originally made as a 6 hr TV series but first released as 2 movies of about 2hrs each. Then there's this international release of 2hrs (think about 6 hrs compressed into 2hrs). Quite good production values - they actually bought the Jerusalem sets from Kingdom of Heaven, and the rest is shot in Sweden.
