Arrow Video have sent through artwork and details for a trio of Dario Argento titles they will be releasing on UK DVD on 22nd March 2010. Priced at £15.99 RRP each are: Terror at the Opera, The Card Player and The Stendhal Syndrome. Features are outlined below...

Terror at the Opera - This special edition features two edits of the film and three separate audio dubs, including the infamous English language ‘Cannes Film Festival dub’ and the ‘studio approved dub’ that replaced it. Features include:
  • Double sided sleeve featuring new artwork

  • Feature presentation (102 minutes) with English 5.1 and Italian 5.1 audio options

They'll probably catch the eye of casual shoppers instore, but I think Argento fans will either already have the Anchor Bay releases, or be waiting for the Blu Rays.

While the blu-ray comment is a good one, I think they make quite good collector's editions what with the new artwork, posters and booklets. These Arrow releases are really very good, these don't interest me though as I've never seen the films, but i'm loving their Romero releases.

Well one thing that Arrow need to do is get a new artist! Those new covers for the above Argento ones and Day & Dawn of the Dead are god awful!
