MGM Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Casino Royale (Collector’s Edition) on 21st October 2008 priced at $19.98 SRP. Starring David Niven as the world famous secret agent, Casino Royale follows an aging Bond as he is called out-of retirement after members of Her Majesty’s Secret Service turn up dead. To combat the villainous Le Chiffre, the man responsible for these crimes, Bond recruits six more “James Bonds” in order to confuse the enemy and create overall chaos. In the end it might not be enough when Bond must faces everything from deadly female operatives to exploding fowl sent to stop him.
