Im not specifically talking about this film. but whats with all the 7 or 8 min longer versions coming out. Either do it properly Studios or not at all. Give us a decent extra run time or just forget it. I dont really know anyone that drools over an extra 5 mins version of any film........

Isn't quality more important than quantity? Like you, I'm not talking specifically about Cry-Baby, but if it's a true director's cut (as opposed to a bit of extra footage they've deliberately held back for the DVD release) I don't care how much longer or shorter it is. If a 10-second scene makes it a better film, I'd much prefer that to half an hour of padding.
